HYPNOSIS FOR MOTIVATION AND SUCCESS

Hypnosis is a topic that people either overlook or are sceptical about. There seems to be a lack of understanding as to what hypnosis really is and how simple yet beneficial it can be.

Have you ever done something on autopilot? For example have you drove to work or the shop and arrived not remembering the drive? Or just anything you do automatically without thinking such as pulling out and sparking up a cigarette? We all have. That is your subconscious mind working for you.

Your subconscious mind works on your behalf. It picks things up that you do regularly, stores the information and is always working to keep you protected by acting on your behalf when it needs to. Your subconscious mind can make or break any habit.

What makes a habit hard to break is the longevity of it. The fact that you have been doing the habit a lot longer then you have not been doing it. But you can easily form a new habit with repetition just like when you formed it originally, you either intentionally or unintentionally conditioned yourself to form what habit you have. The good news is you can also condition yourself to break the habit by forming a much healthier and prefered habit.

That’s where hypnosis comes in. The common misconception is that you go to a hypnotist get hypnotised once and you will be magically cured. Unfortunately, it takes a little bit more than that but not too much more which is the good news. For anyone that feels they are too busy to put the time and effort into breaking their habit all they have to do is to listen to a recording daily when they get the chance and with consistency, it will work.

Like anything in life with repetition, it will sink in. It gets recorded in your subconscious mind, after listening to a recording several times it will get clearer and clearer to your subconscious that you want this thing, habit or action you are listening to happen and it will rise up to your conscious mind and before you know it you have formed a new habit and mindset.

Bear in mind a habit can be anything from an emotion to a feeling or mindset to a physical habit. You can use hypnosis for anything including:

  • Lose weight
  • Mindset
  • Quit smoking
  • Anxiety
  • Focus
  • Study/learning
  • Motivation
  • Finding more energy
  • Eating healthy
  • Exercising
  • Mental health issues
  • Boosting creativity
  • Phobias
  • Sexual issues
  • Stress
  • Relationship issues
  • Substance abuse
  • Sleep
  • Communication
  • Confidence

and more…

On this week’s podcast I have put together hypnosis for motivation, goal setting and success.  I would recommend listening to the hypnosis recording for the next 30 days for it to have the best effect. It is a short hypnosis for if you are busy throughout the day you can take 20 minutes to just relax and listen.

Some hypnosis sessions can be much longer usually 40-60 minutes. If you would be interested in a personalised hypnosis session you can email info@antoniakmoore.com

How NLP can help you in everyday business and life.

What is NLP? NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. It works with your subconscious mind to bring specific things that are in your subconscious to your conscious mind.

This is done by several techniques depending on what you are looking to achieve. Some of the techniques are:

  • Anchoring – Anchoring allows you to automatically trigger a certain feeling such as motivation or confidence simply by tapping a certain area such as your knuckle. This is done by programming that particular area. Anchoring is great for creating a feeling of positivity if you are feeling stressed, anxious or nervous. Say if you had an interview or had to speak in front of a crowd of people, anchoring would help by tapping on your knuckle and triggering the desired pre-programmed feeling.
  • Mapping across – Mapping across is when you are trying to break a habit such as drinking too much coffee. You can replace what you don’t want anymore with something you would rather be drinking. This is great for breaking small habits.
  • Reframing – Reframing is turning a negative situation into a positive. Say for example you got fired from your job. We would work on the benefits and opportunity that has just opened up. It then gives you a different experience of the situation turning the negative into a positive.

These are just 3 small example techniques of NLP. NLP also has much more in-depth techniques for deeper issues.

NLP can help you with:

  • Confidence
  • Decision making
  • Anxiety
  • Nervousness
  • Positivity
  • Motivation
  • Stress
  • Getting clear on goals
  • Healing past traumas

and so much more…

Or if you are a musician it can also help with:

  • Writer block
  • Stage fright

and more

If you are starting out with setting up your own business or maybe you are looking at changing career or have issues in your current job, NLP can assist and help you to deal with what you have going in on your current situation.

MUSIC PR

If you are a musician struggling to get ahead in the industry your not alone. There are so many musicians that have been playing for years and so many that are just starting out that struggle to get paid gigs.

Something that seems to be very common with musicians is hiring a PR agent thinking that they will launch your career to stratospheric proportions. Unfortunately, this is not true and it leaves the musician disheartened and deterred when they launch to crickets.

Sure you get a mention here and there but after that, you realise you have wasted thousands of hard-earned cash for a few irrelevant blog mentions and a few local radio spins.

The average cost of a PR campaign is roughly €3-5,000. The truth about PR is that they have a database of people in media relevant to the industry they specialise in. What most PR companies do is construct a press release and send it out to their database in the hope someone will pick it up, and if they don’t its no skin off their nose as they will be paid regardless.

The best and only time a musician should hire a PR agent is when they are already in media demand. Then you strike when the iron is hot. If you are already in demand then a PR company takes the reigns and can guide and potentially explode your career from there. It takes a lot of work to get to that level but trust me, you are wasting your money otherwise.

Some DIY PR tips are:

  • Have a hook or angle – There’s no point in putting your music out there in the hope it will get picked up unless you have a unique selling point. If you release your music with no hook it is pretty much like throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing if it sticks. What makes you unique? What’s your story? What makes you tick? Who are you? Why do you do what you do? What’s your identity? Answer these questions to yourself on a piece of paper and use it in your bio of your EPK.
  • Have a good quality EPK – Make sure you have a great story or hook in your bio as stated above. Include who you have worked with, what your future plans are, what gig/tour dates you have coming up and make sure you have good quality high res images. If someone picks up your press release or EPK and wants t use your image, you need to make sure its hi-rez.
  • Create a list of people you want to reach out to – Create a google doc, an excel, a piece of paper, Evernote, Notion or whatever you want to use and write a list of people you want to reach out to in festivals, venues, press, blogs, radio, media. Make sure you do your research and address them in the email by name before you reach out or they may not pay any attention to the email. Remember people get 100s of emails a day. You need to stand out and come across professional.
  • Be social on social media – Make sure if you are launching a single, EP or album that you are consistent on your social media platforms for three months leading up to the launch. Do a weekly lives, daily posts and make sure you engage with everyone that leaves a like or comment as they will be your fan for life. If you communicate on a personal level and engage with your community and tribe they will remain a loyal fan.
  • Networking – Go to as many industry conferences as you can, got to other peoples gigs and become known in your industry.
  • Participate in local events – Get involved in your local community they are your community and will support you if you support them. You may get gigs via word of mouth, they might book you for an event. Help launch your music and even buy your music. Build your community on your doorstep first.
  • Do a publicity stunt – If you are launching you could do a skydive for charity. That will garner some press attention. Your imagination is your limit.
  • Keep track and do follow up emails – When contacting press, radio, venues and festivals, make sure you keep track and follow up with an email or call.
  • Write your own press release – Keep it short and include the who, what, where, when and how.

If you pay heed to those points you are on the right track to self-promoting your launch. I offer coaching services for musicians and can guide you if you feel overwhelmed or stuck. I offer a program called The Music Business Program that has everything you need form A-Z to grow your audience, make money and have a long-lasting music career.

Money!

What is it about money? The fact is money has no value. The only value it has is what we accept it to be. Also, it’s one way to control society so we continue to fund the economy and continue the segmentation of classes and repression of third world countries.

The fact is there is more money for the whole world to live in perfect comfort. Believe it or not but the whole world of 7 billion could actually all fit in Texas and all live a comfortable life. But that’s neither here nor there.

I feel money is an outdated source of control, classification, economic values and social status. In the future money will cease to exist and there will be a harmonious more communal way of life. Not at all like communism if that’s where your mind is going but more a utopia of living naturally and with more advanced technology where money is an old-fashioned way of living.

But for now, money rules the world and we have to go through the motions of earning, paying, spend and getting into debt.

It makes no sense these days to get into student debt since nearly the entire education system is outdated too. But there are some that do have up to date teaching, mainly in the technology sector.

OK well, we don’t live in the utopian world yet so, for now, we have to slog. When I was young I had the world at my feet and plenty in the bank but not a clue what I really wanted to do. Easily distracted I partied quite a bit and travelled. Now, years later, I have several business ideas up my sleeve but not much left to invest. Lol.

I am currently working on a few different business ideas and models that I will have to put more time than money into. But watch this space.

Just when I think I’m getting ahead financially I owe something else. Pain in the fucking ass. It’s a shit society that says I need money for this and that but I am still lucky to have property and more. Its a curse and a blessing.

To money all our woes and to money all our drive (ish)

Scheduling

Galileo said: ‘You cannot teach a man anything; you can only help him to find it within himself” Pause for thought. This is so true. Everyone has something that makes them tick. You might try to learn the one subject in several different ways but it will not resonate with you or click until something in your subconscious recognises the pattern and suddenly you can relate. You get it. It’s like your Ah-Ha moment.

I have devised a little schedule for myself that I aim to stick to.  Regularity and momentum are two key strategies for gaining traction. It may be slow to start but it is guaranteed to get you somewhere.  I have scheduled regular podcasting, youtube, blogging and social media plus more as you can imagine. May it kick into place and resonate.

I will check back in here Friday and let you know if making a schedule is a good idea and if I succeeded.

Watch this space 🙂
